Heat Exchangers

At Metropolitan Industries, we’re able to offer a large selection of both Shell & Tube and Heat & Frame heat exchangers for commercial, industrial, and speciality applications. Typical applications include HVAC, domestic hot water, chillers, domestic heating, and heat recovery. Our heat exchangers are available in multiple configurations such as single or double wall and are also available as copper, 90/10 cupro-nickel, 304/316SS, carbon steel or other speciality metals.

Hydronic Pumps

Metropolitan offers hydronic pumps engineered to cover all applications within the commercial & industrial market. We have access to many different pump products which allows us to provide the most efficient pump for each specific application. We provide field service, startup and training to ensure optimum system performance. Our customers can also expect maximum energy savings with ECM technology where detailed energy audits may be available.



Air & Dirt Seperators

Trapped air and dirt in pipes can cause a multitude of problems within a hydronic system including corrosion, pump cavitation, as well as inhibiting heat transfer. To avoid and eliminate these potential headaches and costly issues, it is highly recommended to include a high efficiency air & dirt separator with your hydronic system. Spirotherm separators will eliminate 100% of the free and entrained air and up to 99.6% of the dissolved air in closed loop systems. After 100 passes through these units, 80% of particles down to 30 microns are collected and over time, our devices can separate debris as small as 5 microns. This type of performance ensures protection of your system while increasing overall distribution efficiency. We also offer hydraulic separators that offer efficient primary/secondary balance while removing any air & sediment that may reside within the system.
