Municipal: Control and Pump Repair 101 – 4.5 CEUs (IEPA), 4.5 PDHs

This half day, hands-on training program is designed for operators, foreman and others responsible for submersible pump stations. The course will focus on the proper maintenance and repair of submersible pumping and control equipment. Topics include: Safety, record keeping, basic control panel circuitry and related components, diagnosing problems, pump components and guide-rail systems. Participants will review the workings of a basic control panel and disassemble an eight-inch submersible pump. During each topic, the instructor discusses the internal components and the importance each plays in the make-up of a submersible pumping system.

This class is designed for installers/contractors covering sump and sewage pump systems, battery backup systems, water booster applications, domestic hot water systems including tankless water heaters.
